Placing female LATAM engineers with Canadian Mining Companies

Working with the Artemis Project, Krissilas Group co-created the Artemisa Mining Challenge, which connects qualified women and organizations within the mining sector through an easy, efficient, and effective placement experience for all stakeholders. Our team supports companies in staying abreast of premium international talent pools to meet their hiring needs while helping candidates find meaningful employment and get the practical experience they need to advance their careers.

In 2023, Krissilas Group President and CEO Helen Krissilas was nominated Trailblazer by Women in Mining for her outstanding and innovative work to expand opportunities for professional women in Canada’s metals and minerals sector.

My associates and I have both recruited and operated in STEM businesses for a combined 30-plus years. All that experience has given us a good understanding of both ends of the recruiting process, from the company’s perspective and the candidate’s.

In the last decade especially, we have seen the landscape change and the pace of everything accelerate. We are now in a global marketplace with an integrated economy that has created tremendous wealth. It has also highlighted the need for better distribution of equal opportunities, especially for women and girls. So, while Krissilas Group will always go the extra mile to find the best-qualified and most suitable candidates for our clients’ positions, we will also continue to expand professional opportunities for women, especially in mining and engineering.
