PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Thank you for finding out about the Krissilas Group. Your time is something we respect and value. Really, it’s what our business is all about: saving you time.

My associates and I have both recruited and operated in STEM businesses for a combined 30-plus years. All that experience has given us an in-depth understanding of both ends of the recruiting process. We’ve met some wonderful people. We’ve watched some great careers take off.

We’ve also seen the landscape change and the pace of everything accelerate. This age we’re in has created a tremendous need for high-tech skills and talent, especially in some of our most important sectors and industries, like the STEM fields.

This era has also propelled us into a global marketplace and economy, highlighting the need for equity of opportunity, especially for women and girls. This is where some sectors, like cybersecurity, IT and AI, mining and energy are particularly lagging.

Helping to advance the cause for women and girls in these areas has always been fundamental to my vision for the Krissilas Group. This year, we’re operationalizing the dream by pledging our support for the UN SDGs, with a special focus on Goal #5, equity and empowerment for women and girls.

Whether you’re a client or candidate, the Krissilas Group is your problem-solver. We have the experience and industry knowledge to take on your biggest challenges—your hardest-to-find career opportunities, your hardest-to-fill positions. We do it always with fairness and impartiality, regardless of race, religion or gender.

If you’re considering a career move, let us help you find opportunities and broader horizons. If you’re searching for good, highly skilled employees, give us your confidence. You won’t be disappointed. I guarantee it

Our People

Helen Krissilas

When it comes to recognizing talent and seeing the big picture, Helen has always been a visionary. That ability to look ahead and think outside the box fanned her entrepreneurial leanings, so she founded the Krissilas Group after first specializing in information technology and engineering. Now, with over 18 years’ experience in recruiting, Helen has placed countless candidates in all kinds of organizations, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Her experience extends to international dealings across Europe and North America, making her a global player as well as an advocate for equity and diversity in the workplace. With a master’s degree in education and a specialization in diversity and inclusion, Helen is an award-winning recruiter whose clients know her for her reliability, tenacity and ability to drive profitable growth. Passionate about helping women to succeed in STEM roles and careers, Helen frequently speaks at local industry events and is a member of WiCys, WIM and WiRE and the Artemis Collective.

Tina Krytsos

With over 10 years in the trenches of both corporate and agency recruiting, Tina is a master of her craft. Her knowledge and experience were built on a solid foundation: Tina also has more than eight years of direct experience in IT, including work as a developer, a database analyst and a quality assurance specialist. Fluent in Spanish, Greek and English, her career has led her to many of the world’s cultures and countries as well as a variety of businesses and sectors—IT, finance, telecommunications and government. With both graduate and undergraduate degrees in STEM fields, she has an expert’s understanding of technical roles, careers and sectors. A natural communicator and lover of people, Tina is familiar with marketing strategies, job fairs, and accessing government resources to boost jobseekers’ employability. In her off-hours, she uses her many skills and abilities as an advisor and advocate for immigrants and new Canadians, helping them make a successful transition to their new country.

Niki Krissilas

An organizer’s organizer, Niki has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of office management, customer service and business administration. She joined the Krissilas Group in 2017 to manage the day-to-day operations of the company, but quickly became indispensable in every way. Like so many working mothers, she’s a talented multi-tasker and also a tireless volunteer. She’s always the first to step-up with help, advice or a last-minute “save” of any kind. Many have told us that dealing with Niki, they have complete confidence that the job will be done right, no matter what. After work, Niki contributes her time and wonderful organizational skills to community churches and schools and particularly focuses on work to empower youth and women.
